Nigerians have continued to condemn  and react to the violent agitations going on in the South Eastern part of the country especially with the recent murder of Alhaji Ahmed Gulak former aide of President Goodluck Jonathan in Owerri,  Imo state.

In an interview with the New Nigerian, Pastor Yohanna Buru a political analyst called the act barbaric and capable of causing crisis and creating chaos in the country.

According to him, the murder of Gulak may lead to problems between people from the north and their southern brothers.

“I personally condemn the act. What the country needs presently is peace. God brought us together for a purpose in the first place.”

He urged the police to quickly bring the culprits to justice to help stem any problem that may arise.

“For me IPOB’s cry for self rule is uncalled for. What the country needs is the collective response to the numerous challenges bedeviling it at the moment,” he advised.
