Oyo Police Command Arrests 23-yr Old Disguising As Soldier After Snatching Lexus Jeep

A 23 years old suspected car snatcher allegedly disguising as a soldier  is now in the net of the Oyo State Police Command.
According to a statement issued by the Oyo State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Adewale Osifeso on behalf of the state Commissioner of Police, CP Vivian Ngozi Onadeko, the suspect identified as Azeez was arrested in Ogun State with the snatched car 
DSP Osifeso in the statement stressed that the arrested suspect on Wednesday met the owner of a Lexus RX330 jeep involved in an accident along Oke-Anu junction of Ogbomoso and reportedly offered to move the accident vehicle away from the scene to the nearest Operation Burst Base.
The owner of the Lexus Jeep taking the Car snatcher being a Soldier as he reportedly introduced himself handed the Jeep key to him with the Car snatcher immediately escaping  the vehicle from the scene of the accident in Ogbomoso, Oyo state to Ogun State, 
” Today Wednesday 27th May, 2021, at about 1300hrs, one Adegboyega Segun ‘m’ aged 25 yrs who was earlier involved in an accident along Oke-Anu junction of Ogbomoso came to Owode Divisional Police Headquarters where he reported that one man whose identity was later discovered to be Azeez Kareem ‘m’ aged 23yrs offered to move the  vehicle away from the scene to the nearest Operation Burst Base”, he said.
The PPRO added, ” in other to avoid any form of malicious damage on the vehicle, the complainant handed over the key of the Lexus RX330 jeep to the suspect who immediately moved the vehicle to Ogun State, where he was tracked down, arrested and vehicle recovered through the deployment of tactical and intelligence apparatus.”
DSP Osifeso maintained that already, ” comprehensive investigations are ongoing to apprehend as well crackdown his criminal network and supply chain.”
