The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in collaboration with the Jigawa State Government has concluded arrangements for a four-day coaching clinic for volleyball.
This was made known in a statement signed by the North West Zonal Coordinator, Ministry of Sports, Alhaji Abdullahi Idris, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday May 20, 2020.
“In view of the policy thrust of the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, ably led by Honourable Minister, Me. Sunday Dare, the North West Sports office will be holding an intensive four-day volleyball coaching clinic. In Jigawa,” the statement said.
It informed that the clinic is billed to hold from May 20 to 23 in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
According to the statement, those that will participate include volleyball coaches, secondary and primary schools games masters, local government sports officers, as well as military/Paramilitary sports officers.
It added that communities youth clubs (volleyball) coaches in Jigawa State are also expected among participants.
