Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 53 New Cases, Total 165,612

There were 53 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in three states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) on Thursday 13th May 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) discovered the COVID-19 infections in the following states: Lagos 36, Rivers 14 and Akwa Ibom 3.
As of 11.24 p.m. on 13th May 2021 Nigeria had had a total of 165,612 confirmed cases of the pandemic since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, the nation had treated and discharged 156,387 patients from its COVID-19 isolation centres, while 2,066 people had been killed by the global virus in the country to date.
COVID-19 claimed no life in Nigeria on Thursday.
