Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 47 New Cases, Total 165,559

Forty-seven (47) new cases of  Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infected four states in Nigeria on Wednesday 12th May 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) gave the names of the pandemic-infested states as Lagos 28, Rivers 14, Akwa Ibom 1 and Ekiti 1.
As of the end of 12th May 2021, the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) had been attacked by a total of 165,559 cases of COVID-19 since the index case was reported in the nation.
Out of the total, 156,374 people who were infected by the global virus had been treated and discharged from the country’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 2,066 COVID-19-related deaths had been recorded in Nigeria to date.
The worldwide disease killed one patient in the nation yesterday.
