The Chairman Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the month of Ramadan and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
He stated this in his Sallah message to the people of Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole.
Emir Bamalli urged Muslims not to lose sight of the lessons of Ramadan and use the opportunity to pray fervently for Nigeria to overcome its security challenges and other social vices.
“Let us use the renewed spiritual strength gathered during the Month of Ramadan to pray to Allah to save our country from the rising cases of insurgency, banditry kidnappings and arson that we are witnessing”.
The emir cautioned his subjects against celebrating indiscriminately, reminding faithful that the global pandemic, COVID-19 is still a threat to mankind.
He also advised Nigerians irrespective of ethnic and religious differences, to be their brother’s keeper and share their resources with the less privileged within their midst.
Amb. Bamalli advised farmers not to let the issue of insecurity stop them from going to farm as Allah will protect them.
He prayed for those involved in the issue of insecurity to repent and to stop doing any civil unrest
