Delta Police Deploys Over 1,700 Personnel To Worship Centres, Others For Eid-el-Fitr

The Commissioner of Police Delta State Command Ari Mohammed Ali has deployed a total number of 1,715 police officers to Muslim worship centres and other area to ensure safety of lives and properties during the eid-el- Fitri celebration.
He however urged members of the public to continue to assist and collaborate with the police and other security agencies to enable them serve the good people of the state better.
,Ali, also admonished them to be security conscious and take appropriate measures towards personal protection and their personal effects, not only at home but also in public places such as markets, worship centers, shopping malls and highways.

In a message to felicitate with all Muslim Ummah residents in the state, the police bossnoted that the lesson from fasting season urges all faithful to shun all differences and exhorts us to promote harmony with the aim to show love and affection for each other according to Allah’s teachings.

The Commissioner of Police, according to the release by Ag police public relations officer Edafe Bright, remarked the month of Ramadan not only brings blessing but is also believed to instill in adherents the value of sustained and patient acquired to be part of our daily lives. 
The message reads, ” The Commissioner of Police Delta State Command, CP Ari Muhammed Ali ,FCIA, Psc+  extend his warmest felicitation to all the Muslim Ummah resident in the state who are celebrating this auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid el-Fitr.
This month of Ramadan not only brings us blessing but is also believed to instill in adherents the value of sustained and patient acquired to be part of our daily lives. 
The lesson from this season urges us to shun all differences and exhorts us to promote harmony with the aim to show love and affection for each other according to Allah’s teachings.
The CP. has deployed 1,715 Police officers to all Muslim worship centers, nooks and crannies of the state to step up security in statutory mandate of securing lives and properties, maintaining peace and order at all times. 
He urge members of the public to continue to assist and collaborate with the police and other security agencies to enable them serve the good people of the state better, while admonishing them to be security conscious and take appropriate measures towards personal protection and their personal effects, not only at home but also in public places such as markets, worship centers, shopping malls and highways.
However CP enjoined everyone while engaging in the celebration of Eid el-Fitr to please adhere to all COVID-19 protocols at all time to help curtail the spread of the pandemic. Have a blessed Eid el-Fitr”.
