Team Leader, Sisters of Jannah Zaria Zone, Aisha Mustapha has said that their organization has been working towards supporting the lives of the needy people in the society.
She stated this in Zaria when the organization donated food items to some less privileged people as Sallah festival is around the corner.
Aisha Mustapha said they chose humanitarian aspect as their priority becouse it is time to assist people who are in need, considering the present situation.
According to her, Sister of Jannah is an NGO that has 33 zones across the country and is also assisting people in healthcare issues.
She said this Ramadan, Sisters of Jannah chose Zaria as venue to host its annual distribution of foodstuff to the needy in the community.
The Sisters of Jannah Zaria Zone distributed foodstuff to 50 indigent members in Zaria worth N800.000.
The foodstuff distributed included maize, rice, beans, millet, sugar, spaghetti, macaroni, seasoning cubes, palm oil ans vegetable oil.
Aisha Mustapha used the opportunity to solicit for support from wealthy individuals and corporate organizations to join hands with them towards achieving their objectives.
She thanked the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli for granting them audiance and the fatherly advise during their homage visit to his palace.
