National President of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), New Era, Comrade Abdul- Rasak Arogundade on Friday alerted that the level of insecurity in Nigeria requires urgent solution.
Comrade Arogundade raised the alarm in Ibadan while speaking with journalists at the maiden edition of a Ramadan lecture by the OPC, Oluyole chapter at Jogbin, Olunde Area, Ibadan.
The OPC New Era National President tasked President Muhammadu Buhari to rise to the situation and safeguard the lives and properties of Nigerians .
According to Comrade Arogundade the level of insecurity in the country ” is at alarming rate which required a urgent solution”, adding that ” the level of kidnaping and killings in various part of the country is worrisome and that the president Buhari led administration should urgently address the issue “.
In his sermon , the guest lecturer Alhaji, Quzeem Akilapa urged OPC members to discharge their duties with the fear of God by working to liberate Oyo state for the state to also liberate them later.
“OPC should stand firm and be stabilised if they want to liberate the state . If they perform with the fear of Allah, the state will recognise them for good later. If you are steadfast , government will invite you last at the state level but every state is concern about the likely actions of the federal government most especially those been controlled by oppositions”.
