Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 62 New Cases, Total 165,055

Data update from Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) showed that there were 62 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) which were found in nine states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Thursday 29th April 2021.
List of COVID-19-infested states released by the disease control agency contained the following: Lagos 38, Kaduna 6, Ondo 6, Ogun 3, Akwa Ibom 2, FCT 2, Rivers 2, Edo 1, Kano 1 and Oyo 1.
As of 11.37 p m. on 29th April 2021 the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) had been infected with a total of 165,055 confirmed cases of the global virus since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 155,041 COVID-19-infected patients had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while the country has lost 2,063 persons to the worldwide disease to date.
There was no COVID-19-related death in Nigeria on Thursday.
