Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 81 New Cases, Total 164,993

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that it found 81 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Wednesday 28th April 2021.
The names and numbers of the states infected by the pandemic on Wenesday are: Lagos 26, Enugu 13, Ogun 8, Rivers 6, Kano 6, Kaduna 5, Plateau 5, Akwa Ibom 4, Delta 3, FCT 3 and Edo 2.
As of 11.36 p.m. on 28th April 2021 Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had confirmed a total of 164,993 cases of COVID-19 infections in Nigeria since the index case occurred in the nation.
NCDC reported on its twitter account that 155,021 patients who tested positive for the virus had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while, to date, the country had suffered 2,063 deaths caused by the worldwide disease.
COVID-19 did not kill anyone in Nigeria on Wednesday.
