Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 35 New Cases, Total 164,719

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that it found 35 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in five states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Sunday 25th April 2021.
The pandemic invaded the following: Lagos 18 cases, Rivers 7, Oyo 6, FCT 2, Ekiti 1 and Kaduna 1.
In its daily update on the global virus, the disease control agency pointed out that as of 11.14 p.m. on 25th April 2021, the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) had recorded a total of 164,719 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the index case happened in the country.
Out of the total, 154,926 persons had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 2,062 deaths arising from the worldwide disease had been reported in the nation to date.
COVID-19 killed one patient in Nigeria on Sunday.
According to NCDC, there were215 community recoveries in Oyo State managed in line with guidelines.
