Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Yobe Tops 51 New Cases, Total 164,684

There were 51 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in five states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Saturday 24th April 2021.
The states that were attacked by the pandemic on Saturday are: Yobe 19, Lagos 17, Rivers 8, FCT 4, Akwa Ibom 2 and Bayelsa 1.
In its daily update account on twitter, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that as of 11.38 p.m. on 24th April 2021 the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) had recorded a total of 164,684 confirmed cases of the global virus since the index case was found in the nation.
Out of the total, 154,687 cases had been treated and discharged from the country’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while the worldwide disease has killed 2,061in the country to date.
COVID-19 terminated no patient’s life in Nigeria yesterday.
