Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 120 New Cases, Total 164,423

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said that it found 120 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in seven States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Tuesday 20th April 2021.
The States that the pandemic infected yesterday are: Enugu 53, Lagos 22, Rivers 18, Ogun 8, FCT 7, Abia 6, Kano 5 and Bauchi 1.
NCDC reported that as of 11.25 p.m. on 20 April 2021 the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) had recorded a total of 164,423 confirmed cases of the global virus since the index case was detected in the country.
Out of the total, the nation had treated and discharged from its COVID-19 isolation centres 154,406 patients who were afflicted with the disease, while the virus has killed 2,061 people to date.
COVID-19 killed no person in Nigeria Tuesday.
