Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 70 New Cases, Total 164,303

In Nigeria, 70 New cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) infected five states in Nigeria on Monday 19th April 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said that the states that were attacked by the pandemic yesterday are: Lagos 27, Kaduna 16, Ondo 16, Yobe 6 and Bauchi 5.
As of the end of Monday the country had recorded a total of 164,303 confirmed cases of the global virus since the index case was reported in the nation.
Out of the total, 154,384 patients who tested positive for the disease had been treated and discharged from the country’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while NCDC said that Nigeria has lost 2,061 persons to the pandemic to date.
COVID-19 killed no one is Nigeria yesterday.
