Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Ebonyi Tops 26 New Cases, Total 164,233

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) wrote on its twitter handle that there were 26 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in five states of Nigeria and its Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Sunday April 18, 2021.
The pandemic was found in the following places on Sunday: Ebonyi 10, Lagos 9, FCT 2, Kano 2, Osun 2 and Oyo 1.
As of 11.49 p.m. on 18th April 2021 Nigeria had been infected with a total of 164,233 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 154,332 cases had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 2,061 deaths caused by the worldwide virus had been reported in the country to date.
COVID-19 killed nobody in Nigeria on Sunday.
