Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 80 New Cases, Total 164,080

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) discovered 80 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in 11 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Thursday 15th April 2021.
The virus infections were detected in the following states: Lagos 29, Rivers 19, Zamfara 6, Akwa Ibom 4, Edo 4, Osun 4, Plateau 4, Ogun 3, Kano 3, Nasarawa 2, FCT Abuja 1 and Oyo 1.
As of 11.19 p.m. on 14th April 2021 Nigeria had recorded a total of 164,080 confirmed cases of the global pandemic since the index case was found in the nation.
Out of the total, 154,285 victims of the virus had been treated and discharged from the country’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while total deaths caused by the worldwide disease in Nigeria to date is 2,061.
COVID-19 killed nobody in Nigeria on Thursday.
