Lagos Trust Fund Donates Operational Vehicle To NSCDC, Urges Judicious Use



The operational capability of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos Command has been boosted by the Lagos Security Trust Fund with the donation of a Jack Pick Up vehicle to enhance its operations.
The vehicle, duely registered and branded in the colour of the NSCDC, was presented to the Commandant Mr. P.K Ayeni on Wednesday by the Executive Secretary of the Trust Fund Dr. Abdulrasaq Balogun in Alausa.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Dr. Balogun charged that the vehicle should be used productively, judiciously and effectively. 
He urged all the Security Agencies to be committed to the security of lives and property in Lagos State, as the gesture was done, to motivate the Agencies, to give their best, to the state, in terms of providing quality security services.
While receiving the vehicle, the Commandant glorified God for the donation, noting that it came at the time the command was in dire need of it and other logistics.
Also,he specially applauded the management of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, especially the Executive Secretary of the Fund for beginning to fulfil his promises to the Command in barely a month after his visit to their office.
Ayeni equally appreciated the Lagos State Government, for being supportive to the course of the corps of the State Command. 
The Command’s public relations officer ASCI Abiourin Oluwaseun, who made the disclosure in a release, stated that the presentation was witnessed by SC Godonu Jacob ( Officer in charge of State House) and himself.
