Don’t Expect Any Of Our Governors In APC, PDP Tells Yahaya Bello

By; BAYO AKAMO, Ibadan

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Prince Diran Odeyemi on Friday asked Governor Yahaya Bello not  to expect any of the PDP serving governors in the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
Speaking with the New Nigerian in Ibadan on the claim by Governor Yahaya Bello that some PDP governors will soon join APC, the PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary said the Kogi state governor should forget such a notion .
According to Prince Odeyemi, ” no sensible Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor will for whatever reason  defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).” realising that the party is a complete failure
The PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary lashed out at the APC for its desperation at ensuring that it lured some PDP governors to its side so as be able to rig the 2023 general elections without Nigerians knowning their antics.
Emphasizing that the statement credited to the Kogi state governor amounts to admittance of failure on the part of APC , he stressed that Nigerians can now see that APC as the ruling party have no other thing to campaign with to win elections than making desperate efforts at winning PDP governors to their party.
” Why don’t they start campaigning with what they have been doing as the ruling party, if actually they have anything to show or performed. Is it only by winning PDP governors to themselves that can save the party come 2023? They themselves knows that APC is a complete failure” he said
The PDP Chieftain pointed out that ” no sensible PDP governor will defect to APC . None of our governors will join them. They only want to pounce on PDP governors so as to have about 23 – 25: governors to back up their plans to rig the 2023 polls”,
Prince Odeyemi declared, “If they are that good, they should not wait and start begging PDP governors to join them before they can win the 2023 general elections. It is not a strategy that can work for them”.
