Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 89 New Cases, Total 164,000

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 89 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in nine states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Wednesday 14th April 2021.
A list of infected states and the number per state released by NCDC showed the following: Lagos 19, FCT 15, Adamawa 12, Akwa Ibom 10, Cross River 9, Rivers 6, Ogun 6, Kano 5, Kaduna 4 and Osun 3.
As of 11.22 p.m. on 14th April 2021, Nigeria had had a total of 164,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 154,270 patients had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while there has been 2,061 COVID-19-related deaths in the nation to date.
The virus killed no body in Nigeria on Wednesday.
