Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 74 New Cases, Total 163,911

Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) was infected with 74 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic on Tuesday 13th April 2021.
The virus was reported in eight states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja as follows: Lagos 30, Enugu 11, FCT 11, Akwa Ibom 8, Osun 5, Kaduna 4, Ebonyi 2, Rivers 2 and Ekiti 1.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) wrote in its update on twitter that as of 11.40 p.m. on 13th April 2021, Nigeria had recorded a total of 163,911 confirmed cases of the global disease since the index case was found in the country.
Out of the total, 154,225 COVID-19-infected patients had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while the country had recorded 2,061 deaths to death.
There was no COVID-19-related death in Nigeria on Tuesday.
NCDC said that its discharges on Tuesday included 21 community recoveries in Akwa Ibom State managed in line with guidelines.
