Members of All Farmers Association of NIgeria (AFAN) Kano State Chapter have commended the state chairman, Alhaji Abdulraaheed Magaji Rimin Gado for working selflessly towards the development of agriculture and profitable farming.

Speaking with our correspondent in Kano, the association’s members disclosed that Abdulrasheed is trying his best to ensure that Kano farmers remain achievers in boosting their  production  and also to  benefit from government policies.

Malam Ahmad Usman, a large scale farmer from Makoda Local Government Area, said that AFAN is an organisation that is owned by farmers, therefore a constitutional review should be made to ensure that AFAN is working in accordance with the laws governing its establishment without government  interference.

“On behalf of the Kano State members of our great association, AFAN I authoritatively say that members are solidly behind Abdulrasheed Magaji Rimin Gado as duly elected chairman AFAN, Kano chàpter, and our National President, Architect Kabir Ibrahim who is doing well to ensure that Nigerian farmers remain great at all levels,” he stressed.

Similarly, Hajiya Adama Lawan, an active female farmer from Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area announced that AFAN members in Kano State are loyal to Abdulrasheed  Magaji  Rimin Gado as their state chairman and Architect Kabir Ibrahim as the national president for bringing more progress to the association which she described as commendable efforts.
