Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 58 New Cases, Total 163,388

In Nigeria, 58 cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) attacked 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Tuesday 6th April 2021.
The affected states are as follows: Lagos 32, Kaduna 5, Enugu 4, Kano 4, Edo 3, FCT 3, Osun 3, Abia 1, Bauchi 1, Gombe 1 and Rivers 1.
As of the end of 6th April 2021 Nigeria has recorded a total of 163,388 since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 153,630 patients had been treated of the pandemic and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 2,058 people had been killed by the global virus in Nigeria to date, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said.
There was no COVID-19-related death in Nigeria yesterday.

NCDC’s Tuesday’s  report included 1,007 community recoveries in FCT, 496 in Niger State, and 52 in Bauchi State managed in line with guidelines.
