Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Kwara Leads In 135 New Cases, Total 163,330

An update on Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed that 135 new cases of the pandemic infected 10 states of Nigeria and its Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Monday 5th April 2021.
The global virus attacked the following states yesterday: Kwara 37, Lagos 32, Ondo 23, Nasarawa 13, FCT 9, Kaduna 7, Rivers 6, Osun 3, Delta 2, Edo 2 and Borno 1.
As of the end of 5th March 2021 Nigeria had had a total of 163,330 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 152,045 people who were infected with the worldwide disease had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while the ailment had killed 2,058 patients in the country to date.
COVID-19 did not kill anyone in Nigeria on Monday.
