Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 120 New Cases, Total 160,657

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that there were 120 new cases of Novel Coronavirus Disease in the country on Sunday 14th March, 2021.
The pandemic was found in 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as follows: Lagos 32, Rivers 25, Kaduna 20, Bayelsa 13, Kano 7, Jigawa 5, Borno 5, Abia 4, Oyo 3, Plateau 2, FCT 1, Ogun 1, Nasarawa 1 and Imo 1.
As of 11.26 p.m. on 14th March 2021 there were a total of 160,657 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria since the initial case of the global virus was found in the nation.
Out of the total, 145,399 patients who had the disease had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while the worldwide virus had killed 2,013 people in the country to date.
COVID-19 killed nobody in Nigeria on Sunday.
NCDC reported in its daily update that its discharges on Sunday included 82 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
