*on trail of a dreaded suspect

Members of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) on Friday arrested four men suspected to be kidnappers in Ibarapa, area of Oyo State.
According to sources, the OPC group under the supervision of the Oyo State coordinator of the Gani Adams-led OPC, Comrade Rotimi Olumo, also arrested the second in command to a dreaded one suspected kidnapper in the area Isiaka Muhammadu .
It was learnt that the suspects were arrested around 1pm on Friday when the OPC members were on a search mission for the dreaded suspected kidnapper, identified as Wakilu said to have that been terrorising the entire Ibarapaland area of Oyo state
New Nigerian gathered from sources close to OPC that Muhammadu was arrested around 5pm and that he has since his arrested been given vital information that might lead to the arrest of the suspected kingpin.
OPC sources stressed that the four arrested suspects have been handed over to the police and are presently at the Agro ranger, Civil Defence headquarters in Igbo Ora.
The OPC Coordinator, Comrade Rotimi Olumo has hinted that the search mission, according to the coordinator is still on going as the OPC was determined to rid the entire southwest of kidnappers and other criminal elements in the southwest. “We are determined to rid the Southwest of criminal elements, including kidnappers and bandits, we are always ready to complement the efforts of the police and the southwest security Network (Amotekun) in the state, and we will not relent in this efforts” he said.
