Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 341 New Cases, Total 155,417

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) found 341 new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Saturday 27th 2021.
The areas that were invaded by the new COVID-19 cases are: Lagos 96, Rivers 41, Kaduna 33, Edo 21, Osun 20, Akwa Ibom 17, FCT 17, Ondo 15, Gombe 11, Kano 11, Imo 10,  Ekiti 9, Kebbi 9, Kwara 8, Oyo 8, Borno 6, Enugu 3, Plateau 3, Delta 1, Niger 1 and Ogun 1.
NCDC reported that as of 11.45 a.m. on 27th February 2021 a total of 155,417 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic had been recorded in Nigeria since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 133,256 persons infected by the worldwide virus had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,905 deaths arising from the disease had happened in Nigeria to date.
Theere were three COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria yesterday, according to NCDC’s daily update.
The disease control agency announced that it recorded 319 community recoveries in Lagos State, 121 in Kaduna State and 38 in Rivers State on Saturday.
