Bandits Kidnap 24yr Old Poultry Farmer In Ibadan

It was confusion galore at Oke Odan, Olomo area of Apete Community in Ibadan on Monday when gunmen stormed a farm in the area and kidnapped a 24-year-old poultry farmer 

New Nigerian gathered that the gunmen alleged to be Fulanis stormed the farm at about 5pm shooting sporadically and shouting the name of owner of the farm.

Sensing danger, workers at the farm reportedly took to their heels leaving behind the 24 year old son of the owner of the farm after which he was overpowered and whisked away by the gunmen to an unknown destination

It was learnt that the incident was immediately reported at Police station in Apete leading to  the  Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at Apete Division and other officers with local vigilante men combing the Olomo community in search of the kidnapped poultry farmer and the gunmen.

The search team were said to have extended their search to Moniya forest as at the time of sending this report with the whereabout of the kidnapped poultry farmer yet to be known.
