Nigeria as a nation is bleeding, the country is sick and.is still yearning for true leadership. The biggest problem Nigeria has been facing from its beginning is that of leadership.
The Chief of Staff to the Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, Prof Maxwell M. Gidado (SAN) stated this when he received in audience, leadership of the Atiku Care Foundation, led by its Director General, Ambassador.Aliyu Bin Abbas at the Goverment House in Yola on Friday February 19, 2021.
We were trusting God that if they had given our leader, our boss, our father Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Wazirin Adamawa the leadership of this country, I am sure by now NIgeria would have witnessed a major difference.
If you go round all his projects, he has never failed in any. Some friends flew in from Abuja, they were coming into Yola for the first time and they knew me when I was the legal adviser to His Excellency, of course I am still his legal adviser as far as I am concerned.
So when they came in, I said, many of you don’t know His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCFR. Let me take you round and they were amazed.
When the team.paid a courtesy call on Commissioner of Works and Energy, Honourable Adamu Atiku Abubakar, he was informed of their resolve to make him their patron in Adamawa State, which he gladly accepted.
He commended Atiku Care Foundation for its doggedness and humanitarian services across NIgeria.
“I am also aware you guys are going through restructuring to reposition yourselves ahead of 2023. The whole essence of this is that we have learnt from our mistakes of the past,” he said.
Honourable Adamu Atiku commended their new development plans and pledged to.support their activities whenever he is called upon.
Earlier in his remarks at both places visited, the Director General of Atiku Care Foundation, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas said that he led some national executives of the foundation to Yola to finalise inauguration plans for Adamawa State executives.
