The foundation officer expressed confidence that stakeholders would welcome the bill, having engaged members of the house of Assembly and the executive arm of the government.
“From the resolutions of the stakeholders at the assessment workshop, hopefully the bill will be with the State House of Assembly by next week. The ministry of justice has promised to work on the bill so that the Assembly can have the draft”
The evaluation officer spoke of different perspectives which the foundation need to constructively engage, while making the people understand that it is for good governance and for them to have a mechanism to engage in the fight against corruption.
