A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Kaduna State, Barrister Francis Kozah, has observed that the governor Nasir el-Rufai-led administration in the state has truly established structures of governance that will stand the test of time.
He noted that since assumption of the office of governor Nasir el-Rufai in 2015, he has tried to established an international based practice in all spheres of life in the state.
Speaking to New Nigerian in Kaduna, the founding member of the APC, said looking at the infrastructural development in the state like roads and others, the governor has ensured that specification of all his projects are fully made so that they would stand the test of time.
Barrister Francis Danladi Kozah, who is theSecretary, Kaduna State Legislative Service Commission, stated, “Since he took over power, there is something we should appreciate Governor el-Rufai for. He is a man of his words, he has not lay to the gallery, he called a spade a spade and that he is somebody you can rely on.
“Governor el-Rufai is looking for establishing sustainable structures, structures that will enhance good governance in the state. His reforms are reforms aimed at establishing solid structures that will ensure the development of our people and our state.”
He added, “Governor el-Rufai is not afraid of taking decisions. These are good qualities that he has brought to bear in governance of the state and we are happy for it. These are things we can all see what he is going on in Kaduna state.”
He opined that the infrastructural development being rendered by the governor are solid ones that would take the people of the state to the next level.
He observed that if past governments have done like governor el-Rufai, the state would have been one of the best states in the country in all spheres of life.
On the security challenges in the state, Barrister Kozah noted, “We know that what he has been doing, he has been mobilising all the security agencies to curb incessant security challenges in all parts of the state. Today, Kaduna state is better up in terms of security challenges even with some challenges here and there.”
He noted that security is everyone business, stressing that it should not be seen to be a government business.
Barrister Kozah observed that because of the security consciousness inculcated in the minds of the people by the Governor el-Rufai, communities like the Atyap Chiefdom has held several peace summit looking for ways to ensure peaceful coexistence among the various ethnic groups in their area.
On the educational sector, he stated that before the coming of the present government, the situation was a rotten one, assuring that today a lot of renovations in schools in the state have taken place while only qualified teachers that have what it takes to teach are in schools today in the state, thereby creating a conducive environment for learning.
He called on the citizens of the state to cooperate and support the present administration in its efforts to secure the lives and properties of all in the state.
