NIS Gets Clinic At Gurin Border Post

Officers and men of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) attached to Gurin Control Post, Adamawa State, have been provided a clinic by the Service to cater for their medical needs.
The medical facility was personally commissioned by the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede.
Prior to the inauguration of the clinic Babandede had paid a courtesy visit on the State Governor Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Government House,Yola.
While receiving the NIS boss, Fintiri commended the Service and the Comptroller General for a good work and service to the nation. 
In a release by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, James Sunday, a Deputy Comptroller, the Governor eschew the virtue of leadership in the CGI Babandede, particularly as it relates to prudent management of human and capital resources and spread of infrastructures across the country.
It reads, ” The Comptroller General of  Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede MFR commissioned a Clinic for the use of the officers and men of the Nigeria Immigration Service Gurin Control Post Adamawa State today 11th February 2021.       
The CGI  Babandede on arrival in Yola paid courtesy call on His Excellency, Executive Governor of Adamawa State Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at the Government House,Yola where the Executive Governor commended the Service and the Comptroller General for a good work and service to the nation. 
The Executive Governor of Adamawa  State Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri eschew the virtue of leadership in the CGI Babandede, particularly as it relates to prudent management of human and capital resources and spread of infrastructures across the country. 
The CGI Babandede while responding thanked the Governor for the supports received by the Service in terms of logistics and inclusion of the Service in the membership of the Adamawa  State Security  Council where they contribute to the security of the state, being a border state with Cameroon.
He further assured the Governor that with the Forward Operation Base (FOB) also to be commissioned at Belel, the state will enjoy fortification in border security and migration control”.
