Hephzibah City of God’s Covenant Church, Bagodo Kamazou, Kaduna, recently ordained its Pastors, Deacons and Evangelists to ensure everyone functions towards enhancing the gospel of Jesus Christ to members of the Church and the world in general.
The General Overseer of the Church, Prophet Japhet Danjuma, who did the ordination, had Pastor Joel Manjo Abuja, Pastor Sylvester James and Pastor Veronica J. Danjuma were ordained as Pastors while Helen Audu was ordained as an Evangelist in order to fully carry out the work of God.
Others that were ordained in the Church include Timothy Sherman Adamu, Pius Shemang, Adazie Ambrose Chukwuemeka, Engr. Samuel Tizhe Musa, Tabitha James, Solomon Sarki, John Aloja and Iliya Saleh Bagudu were all ordained as Deacons of the Church.
While thanking God Almighty on behalf of those who were ordained, Deacon Timothy Sherman Adamu, said, “First of all, I thank God Almighty, the Maker of Heaven and earth for bringing me thus far in His service.
“I want to also mention here that what you’re witnessing today in my life wouldn’t be complete without me made mention of Prophet Zachariah Ayuba, the Seer of Hephzibah Synagogue and outreach Ministry, Graceland Zaria, whom God used to bring me back from the shackles of the darkness in 2014 when God used him to deliver me, then afterwards, at an all night vigil Service, he directed that I join Daddy Japheth Danjuma at the Kaduna Church which was newly opened in 2016.  Before then I used to leave Kaduna for Zaria to attend Service there.”
He thanked the Lord God Almighty for seeing him through from his childhood, adding, “I’ll like to also say that as a child, while growing up, at between ages of three (3) and four (4), I was so much attached to church activities that I always became the best in Bible verse citation at EWCA Church Barnawa, then later as at adulthood, I lost steam and the devil begin to use me play snooker.”
Mr Adamu thanked God that his destiny is in God’s Hands and He was not yet done with him, assuring, “God’s infinite mercies located and brought me back to Himself through the Prophet Zachariah Ayuba Ministry and since after my deliverance, no looking back anymore. Service to God is all I want to achieve in this life.”
The ordination of the Pastors, Evangelists and Deacons in the Church was so unique that it was well attended with people from all walks of life were in attendance to witnessed the ceremony.
The programme of the ordination also coincided with the 5th year anniversary of the Church here in Kaduna, which was well attended.
