Kano Air Force Comprehensive Schools Commandant, Squadron leader E.J. Ichimi has assured that the newly appointed Chief of air staff, AVM Oladayo Amao would record more achievements during his stay as Nigeria's Chief of Air Staff by the virtue of his professionalism in the field throughout his time in service.
He made this known in a congratulatory message that he extended in a chat with our correspondent, adding that "the new CAS would step in the shoes of their former Air Chief Marshall, because he has been into active service for many years which enabled him to understand their challenges in terms of national security and the general welfare of the airmen and women accordingly.
Squadron Leader Ichimi disclosed that Nigerian Air Force remains one of the best air military organisations in Africa and the globe at large especially at present when the world is gradually changing in the area of defense and modern security techniques like what is being witnessed today in the formidable organisation.
Speaking further on the outgoing CAS, Squadron Leader E.J.Ichimi said that " our former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Abubakar Sadique worked selflessly towards the progress of Nigeria's Air Force that resulted in the organisation's recognition at both domestic and international level which is a testimony that CAS Saddique laid a good and solid foundation for the NAF at all levels".
In conclusion, Squadron leader Ichimi congratulated the new CAS AVM Amao on his well deserved appointment and on the other hand, thanked the outgoing CAS for transforming NAF towards an exemplary military organisation that is also being fully respected in the world at large.
He commended the Nigerian Airmen and women for their dedication to the service of their fatherland.
