Adamawa State Government’ is set to collaborate with the North East Development Commission (NEDC) to built three comprehensive model schools in Guyuk, Song and Mubi South local government areas.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri made this disclosure when he received in audience members of the Old Boys Association of Government Science Secondary School Hong, class of 1986 on Tuesday.
According to him, government has arranged with the commission to build the schools this year as part of Adamawa’s share.
He maintained that, his administration is determine to build more classrooms, provide teaching materials and engage qualified teachers, among others.
The governor stated further that, government will select some schools and makes them science base to promote science and technology.
While reiterating his commitment to revamping the educational sector, the governor pointed out that such gesture will decongest schools in the state and enhanced educational development.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mr Garba Isa commended the governor for executing more than one hundred projects across the state in the areas of education, infrastructure and health among others.
