The Nigeria Youth Movement In Politics (NYMIP) Kaduna Chapter has called on the Kaduna State All Progressive Congress (APC) to focus more on having better qualitative members in the upcoming party registration exercise.
A statement signed by the Coordinator NYMIP Kaduna State Chapter, Ambassador Shuaibu S. Gomna disclosed that It’s high time the Kaduna APC knew and understood that leadership is a huge responsibility.
He added that the party should endeavor to ensure that the internal scuffles does not spill over to distract and ultimately affect the government’s determination of building the state.
According to him, the party should try as much as possible to separate its internal politics from the activities of the state as that may distract and dissuade the government from carrying out its duties effectively.
He said, “Kaduna as the undisputed center of the North should be the pacesetter, as we know it is capable of, in terms of producing the finest politicians the region has to offer, but that cannot be if the incumbent party is in internal shambles.
“On behalf of the entire Kaduna State family of the Nigeria Youth Movement In Politics, I call on the state party leaders to focus on leaving legacies and training proteges that will ensure that their ideologies live on even after their reign.”
Amb. Shuaibu Gomna also commended the efforts of the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai over the ongoing urban renewal around the state as it is what the state has been lacking since the departure of PDP governor, His Excellency, Senator Ahmad Muhammad Makarfi.
Furthermore, he explained that as the political party membership registration of both fresh, decampees and the existing members is about to began come February 2, 2020, they wish the party a hitch-free process and to ensure adequate youth Inclusiveness in the process.
“Finally, the Coordinator NYMIP called on our teeming Youths in the state to ensure they partake in the party registration process that will be the first step in the process of change-making and wished the APC Kaduna State a successful registration process.”
