Jigawa Assembly Sanctions Member For Criticizing Badaru, APC

The Jigawa State House of Assembly through its Speaker, Hon. Idris Jahun has announced the sanction of one of its members, Hon. Musa Sule Dutse, a member representing Dutse Constituency in the Assembly.

Hon. Dutse was relieved of his position in the House as Chairman House Committee on MDG’s after he made comments inimical to the wishes of the state Governor, Badaru Abubakar as well as berated the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) for not living up to expectations.

Hon. Musa Sule Dutse until his removal was the House Committee Chairman on Millennium Development Goals, (MDG’s) in the Jigawa State House of Assembly.

Excerpts of the private owned radio interviews with the Freedom Radio Dutse, Hon. Musa Sule Dutse accused Governor Badaru for lackadisical approach to issues of quality good governance.

“Is a pity we in Jigawa State lack a charismatic governor with all the capacity and public experience to lead as far as good governance is concerned.

“We are not comfortable with the style of leadership of our leader in Jigawa State as things are not going in the right perspective,” he said.

Speaking further, he stressed that his poor posture has thwarted things to go hapharzadly, adding that Badaru’s style of leadership was very disheartening.

To his party the APC, Hon. Dutse stated that, “both our party the APC and its leaders have failed us whole heartedly since the party is not functioning effectively as its mode of operations are far below expectations alleged the fear for the party to retain its image in governance due to poor operations nationwide.”
