Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 1,301 New Cases, Total 113,305

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said that it found 1,301 new case of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in 21 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Tuesday 19th January 2021.
The global virus infected the following: Lagos 551, FCT 209, Oyo 83, Plateau 65, Kaduna 64, Enugu 61, Rivers 44, Ondo 39, Benue 37, Akwa Ibom 31, Kano 19, Delta 18, Gombe 18, Ogun 16, Edo 15, Kebbi 10, Ebonyi 9, Jigawa 4, Osun 3, Zamfara 3, Borno 1 and Nasarawa 1.
As of 11.37 p.m. on 19th January 2021, Nigeria had recorded a total of 113,305 cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the first case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 91,200 patients who were struck by the virus had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while the disease had claimed 1,464 lives in Nigeria to date.
An update data from NCDC showed that COVID-19 killed 15 persons in Nigeria on Tuesday.
