The newly appointed Executive Secretary of Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA). Pharmacist Aisha Tukur Isyaku has said that providing quality assurance systems for all health supplies, procured and distributed in the state will be the focus of the agency.
Pharm.Tukur Isyaku made the assertion when she assumed office as the Executive Secretary of the Agency in Kaduna, North West Nigeria.
She assured staff that all health supplies in the state will be inaccordance with the regulatory compliance for safety, efficiency and rational use by end users;
Pharm.Tukur Isyaku further said that generating, collecting validating, managing and distributing and providingdata on health supplies, logistics and supply chain for use in the state will be another priority during her tenure.
She promised to vigorously pursue training and capacity development on health supply chain management to public health institutions in the state
The Executive Secretary sought support of all personnel to ensure that the agency regulates and co-ordinates all health supply chain operations in the state; in line with its mandate.
“We will ensure that our offices in each of the three Senatorial Zones are up and doing to the benefit of the citizens,” she said.
It would be recalled that kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA) was established in 2018 to manufacture, select, quantify, source, store and distribute health supplies to end users through the health institutions in the state, or such health institutions as may be approved the Commissioner of Health.
