As political parties begin preparation ahead of the 2023 elections, former Governor Muhammadu Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa State has tasked stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure unity reigns among party members.
According to him, unity and understanding among the old and new entrants would reposition the party on the right track for 2023.
Bindow, who was speaking on Monday at the party’s secretariat in Yola harped on the need for all party members to come together, keep their differences aside and work towards one goal: the success of the party.
He challenged all party supporters to make good use of the upcoming party registration and get registered along with their families.
Bindow was however quick to frown on double registration saying “Double registration is not allowed, make sure you register with your family”.
In his remarks, Ibrahim Bilal the party’s State Chairman thanked Bindow for the visit to the state.
Bilal also lauded him and other political office holders for their empowerment programmes which touched the lives of a lot of people in the state.
He assured that the party would always ensure justice and fairness for its members.
The party chairman noted that many prominent personalities have decamped to the party and many others are ready to join them because of the dismal performance of the incumbent PDP led government in the state.
