The Ogun State Government, in fulfilling of its promise to remain dedicated to infrastructural projects, has commenced work on the Molusi College Road in Ijebu-Igbo.
Engineers working on the new project are currently constructing drainage on the entire stretch of the road.
New Nigerian recalls that the road was approved for full reconstruction in December 2020 by the State Executive Council.
The Government through Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Waheed Odusile,lasserted that the commencement is a clear indication of its commitment to road infrastructure and quality road networks.
Alhaji Odusile said also that the timely commencement of the would also allow the State government to attend to other road projects across the state.
“In light of the numerous ongoing projects across the three Senatorial Districts, the State Government, will not relent in ensuring that all parts of the State benefit from its infrastructural development drive,” Odusile stressed.
