Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 829 New Cases, Total Total 83,576

Fourteen states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja were attacked by 829 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) infections on Saturday 26th December 2020.
Names of the places invaded by the pandemic in Nigeria on Saturday are: Lagos 296, FCT 291, Kaduna 79, Rivers 40, Kano 35, Nasarawa 25, Bauchi 19, Benue 8, Borno 7, Edo 7, Oyo 7, Sokoto 7, Cross River 3, Jigawa  Ogun 2 and Ogun 2.
As of 11.37 p.m. on 26th December 2020 Nigeria had reported having a total of 83,576 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was recorded in the country.
Out of the total, 70,495 patients afflicted with the worldwide virus had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,247 patients have been killed by the disease in the nation since the first case was reported there.
COVID-19 killed one person in Nigeria yesterday, according to figures released by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its  daily update on Saturday.
