Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore on Friday asked Nigerians to be more safety conscious and celebrate the Christmas and New year festivities with high level of staying safe.
Senator Omisore gave the charge in his Christmas message to Nigerian Christians on this year’s Christmas celebrations issued by his Media office.
The former deputy governor and former Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation stressed that Nigerians should be conscious of the fact that COVID-19 has not abated as it’s ravaging seriously in other parts of the world and even here in Nigeria
Senator Omisore tasked Christian faithfuls and Nigerians to have the strong determination that this period of global challenges arising from the outbreak of COVID-19 shall pass and as well as be closer to God through their interactions with Almighty God during this year Christmas celebrations
Congratulating Christians for witnessing this year’s Christmas celebrations through the grace of God, Senator Omisore lauded the understanding and compliance of all Nigerians especially Osun State people to the non-pharmaceutical prevention guidelines and protocol introduced to manage the COVID 19 outbreak
The former Deputy Governor however charged Christians to hile he encouraged them not to lower their guards maintaining the safety measures including regular hand washing, face masks wearing and Social/physical distancing to keep up with preventive tendencies of the measures.
