Kidnapping, Banditry Would Soon Be History In NIgeria – IGP

Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu has assured that kidnapping and banditry in the country will soon become history. 

Inspector General Abubakar Adamu was in Katsina State where he paid a visit to the state Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari at General Muhammadu Buhari house. 

Earlier, Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Sanusi Buba on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, presented Group Life Assurance Cheques to families of deceased Police officers who died while in active service to their fatherland.        

Alhaji Buba while presenting the cheques to the next-of-kins of the deceased police officers, according to a statement by Police Public Relations  Officer (PPRO) of the Katsina State Command, Superintendent of Police (SP) Gambo Isah, urged the beneficiaries to judiciously use the money and better their lives. 

 He prayed the “Almighty Allah to grant eternal rest to the souls of our departed colleagues, continue to bless and take care of the Kith and kin they have left behind.” 

The Katsina State Police Commissioner, Alhaji Sanusi Buba thanked the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu for the gesture.
