Oyo NSCDC Inspector Shot Dead By Kidnappers, Buried In Ibadan

It was weeping galore on Thursday at Araba Oluwo area of  Ibadan as the remains of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command Armed-Squad Unit Inspector Of Corps shot dead  by kidnappers of a Lebanese  last Saturday in Ibadan was  laid to rest.
New Nigerian gathered that the NSCDC Inspector of Corps , Oyewole Segun Benjamin met his untimely dead while on an Official duty to rescue the Lebanese kidnapped at Panarama Farm in Ibadan.
According to Oyo State NSCDC command in a statement on said the  late Inspector of Corps who was on  secondment to the Oyo State Joint Security Task Force (OPERATION BURST) “while on an official duty to rescue the Lebanese kidnapped at Panarama Farm Mekun, Oke Alaro fell to the bullet of the gunmen that laid ambush for the team on Saturday “.
Speaking at the burial of stained NSCDC Inspector of Corps, Oyo State NSCDC Corp Commandant, Alhaji Iskilu Akinsanya represented by Assistant Commandant Akeju Yomi expressed sympathy of the NSCDC management to the family of the deceased and pray that the Lord Grant the Family the Fortitude to bear the loss.
The body of the deceased was later laid to rest at his site at Araba Oluwo Area Ibadan.
He is survived by aged, parent, siblings, wife and children.
