Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 758 New Cases In 19 Locations, Total 74,132



There were 758 new cases of Novel CoronaVirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria on Tuesday December 15, 2020.
The new COVID-19 infections were found in eighteen states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja in the following order: FCT 305, Lagos 152, Kaduna 103, Bauchi 44, Gombe 35, Plateau 31, Rivers 17, Sokoto 15, Kwara 13, Kano 9, Ebonyi 8, Ogun 5, Oyo 4, Edo 4, Anambra 4, Bayelsa 2, Ekiti 1 and Taraba 1.
As of 11.13 p.m. on December 15, 2020 Nigeria had recorded a total of 74,132 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections since the index case occurred in the country.
Out of the total, 66,494 persons who were diagnosed of having the global pandemic had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,200 people have been killed by the worldwide virus since the disease entered Nigeria.
Three patients were killed by COVID-19 in Nigeria on Tuesday.
Still in Tuesday’s COVID-19 daily update, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that its discharges on Tuesday included 29community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

“Our confirmed cases today includes data reported from the FCT over 2 days,” NCDC said on its twitter account on Tuesday.
