Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: Kaduna Leads in 201 New Cases, Total 73,374

In Nigeria, Kaduna State has the highest number of new cases of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections found in ten states and the Federal Capital Territory FCT (Abuja) on Monday December 14, 2020.
The COVID-19-infected areas on Monday are: Kaduna 74, Lagos 53, Katsina 40, Rivers 11, Plateau 9, Kwara 6, Bauchi 2, Ogun 2, Taraba 2, Edo 1 and Sokoto 1.
As of 11.31 p.m. on 14th December 2020 Nigeria had been infected with a total of 73,374 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was reported in the nation.
Out of the total, 66,314 people who tested positive for the worldwide virus had been treated and discharged from Nigeria’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,197 deaths caused by the disease had been recorded in the country during the period under review, according the daily twitter account of the ailment by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
There was no COVID-19-related death in Nigeria on Monday.
“Our discharges today include 123 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC said on Monday.
