Buhari Arrives Katsina For Week-long Private Visit

President Muhammadu Buhari is in Katsina State on a week long private visit to his country home Daura.

President Buhari  arrived Umaru Musa International Airport Katsina at 4:47pm Friday, December 11,2020 on  board of a Presidential Jet Nigerian Air Force (NAF) 001. 

On arrival, Buhari was received at Airport by Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, his Deputy, Alhaji Mannir Yakubu, Minister of Aviation, Alhaji Hadi Sirika, head of Security Agencies in the state, government officials, All Progressives Congress (APC) members and well wishers. 

Shortly after the reception at Umaru Musa Yar’adu International Airport Katsina, President Muhammadu Buhari with his personal aides proceeded to his home town Daura on a  NAF Helicopter. 

After landing at the Helipad in Daura, New Nigerian gathered that, President Muhammadu Buhari was received by the Emir, Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar  along with members of the Emirate Council and a parade of colorful horse riders and courtiers.

Shortly upon disembarkation,  President Buhari was presented with a gift of horse and a decorated sword  in his capacity as Bayajiddan Daura from the Emir.    

Buhari during the week long staying in Daura,  would carry out some private engagements.
