Nigeria’s COVID-19 Update: 324 New Cases, Total 68,627

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that the Federal Republic of Nigeria (FRN) had 324 new infections of Novel Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday 4th December 2020.
The new cases of COVID-19 were detected in ten states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja as follows: Lagos 115, FCT 110, Kaduna 57, Taraba 9, Akwa Ibom 8, Plateau 6, Bauchi 4, Ekiti 4, Kano 4, Katsina 4 and Rivers 3.
As of 11.11 p.m. on 4th December 2020 Nigeria has a total of 68,627 confirmed cases of COVID-19 pandemic since the index case was reported in the country.
Out of the total, 64,467 cases had been treated and discharged from the nation’s COVID-19 isolation centres, while 1,179 people have been killed by the worldwide virus during the period under review, NCDC said on its twitter handle yesterday.
No death arising from COVID-19 was recorded in Nigeria on Friday.
