The House Committee on Aviation has assured the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) Zaria of its support to become one of the beneficiaries of TETFUND.
Hon. Nnaji Nnoli Chairman House Committee on Aviation gave the assurance during an oversight visit to the College by members of the committee.
Represented by Hon. Musa Pali Deputy Chairman of the committee, he said if NCAT begins to access TETFUN intervention, most of its projects will become easy to execute.
He said the committee will ensure that Aviation industry receives all the necessary support it needs to make it more effective and reliable that can be affordable to Nigerians to travel, as roads are no longer safe.
Hon. Nnaji expressed committee’s appreciation over what they saw interns of progress and physical development in the College.
Speaking on the budget, the Committee Chairman said they were working on how to promote the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) Zaria.
He said they were working on the total improvement of Aviation industry in Nigeria.
Ealier in his address, the Rector of the College, Captain Abdulsalami Mohammed said the College has received delivery of six Diamond trainer Aircrafts from Australia.
He said the mission of the College is to produce manpower to the Aviation industry who are professionally trained.
Captain Abdulsalami appealed to the committee to assist the College to join the Institutions that are enjoying TETFUND projects and sponsorship.
